Gods Plan Of Salvation

In asking you the most important question of life.  Your joy and sorrow for all eternity depends upon the answer to this question.

Are you saved?

I mean, are you sure you will go to heaven when you die?  The question is not are you a member of a church?  But

Are you saved?

The question is not how good are you?  But

Are you saved?

No one can enjoy the blessings of God.  No one can go to heaven without being saved.  Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:7 that, “Ye must be born again”.  God gives us his only plan for salvation in the Bible.  The plan is simple!  You can be saved today.  It is never too late.

First you must realize that you are a sinner.  As stated in Romans 3:10, 22-23, “There is none righteous, no not one.  For there is no difference because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”.

Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to die…but there is a way out.

Romans 6:23 tells us that the “wages of sin is death” and James 1:15 says, “sin…bringeth forth death”.

This means separation for God in hell forever.  How terrible!  Yes, my friend it is true.  But God loved you so much that he gave his only son Jesus Christ as your substitute, who bore your sins and died, in your place on the cross at Calvary.  “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”.  (2nd Corinthians 5:21).

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed”.  (1st

 Peter 2:24)

Jesus had to die.  He had to shed his blood.  In Hebrews 9:22 it tells us “and almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission”.

We cannot understand how our sins were laid upon Jesus, but God says in his word that they were.  Therefore my friend, you sin was laid upon Jesus and he died in your place so that you have the chance to have eternal life through salvation.

The jailer at Philippi asked Paul and Silas, “What must I do to be saved?”  And they responded by saying if you “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and Thou shalt be saved, and thy house”.  (Acts 16:31)

Simply believe in him as the one who bore your sins, and died in your place.
